ENGAGE SALONE ANNOUNCES 30 JOB OPENINGS FOR FIELD RESEARCH PROJECT IN SIERRA LEONE

 



Engage Salone has officially opened recruitment for 30 field-based positions under a nationwide governance and service delivery research project across Sierra Leone.

The recruitment exercise is part of the Strengthening Accountability and Governance through Evidence (SAGE) project, supported by the International Development Research Centre. The project aims to study how governance and decentralization systems affect public service delivery in communities across the country.

The available vacancies include:

• 20 Quantitative Data Collectors/Enumerators.


• 10 Qualitative Researchers and FGD | KII Facilitators.

The organization stated that the opportunity is suitable for university students, recent graduates, unemployed graduates, and individuals interested in NGO work, governance, research, and community development.

FIELD DATA COLLECTION POSITIONS

The Quantitative Data Collector role will involve conducting surveys in communities using smartphones or tablets. Successful applicants will gather information through structured interviews and submit accurate field reports to supervisors.

The project will operate in the following districts:

• Western Area Urban
• Western Area Rural
• Bo
• Bombali
• Kono
• Port Loko

Applicants with local language skills and strong community ties may receive added consideration during recruitment.

QUALITATIVE RESEARCHERS ALSO NEEDED

For the Qualitative Researcher and Facilitator positions, candidates will conduct focus group discussions and key informant interviews while ensuring confidentiality and professional engagement with participants.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
